Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 April 2026
This policy explains what information MortgagePro.uk receives when you actively send it through the site, what stays on your own device while you use calculators, and how to contact us about a privacy request.
1. Using the site without an account
MortgagePro.uk does not require a user account to browse guides or use the calculators. Most planning inputs are handled in your browser as you use the site.
2. Information you send through forms
When you submit the contact form or the on-site message form, the submission may include:
- your name and email address
- your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- the message, subject and page context you enter
- the current page URL, referrer and UTM parameters, if they are present
This information is used to review your message, answer a site question, investigate a page problem or log a correction request.
3. Calculator data and browser storage
Most calculators do not require you to submit your financial inputs to use them. Mortgage Journal is an exception in the sense that it saves scenarios in your browser's local storage on your device so they remain available when you return to the page on that browser.
If you clear your browser storage, those saved Mortgage Journal scenarios may be removed.
4. Third-party processing
Form submissions are sent through an external form-processing endpoint at mail.printemplate.com. By submitting a form on MortgagePro.uk, you understand that the details you enter are transmitted to that service so the site team can review them.
MortgagePro.uk also links to third-party websites, such as lenders and official guidance pages. Those websites are responsible for their own privacy practices.
5. How submitted information is used
Submitted form data is used for site operations such as:
- responding to your message
- checking a reported issue or correction
- understanding which page or tool the message relates to
- improving wording, UX or calculator behaviour where a message reveals a problem
6. Your privacy requests and rights
If you have submitted a message and want us to correct it, delete it or tell you what contact information we hold from that submission, please use the Contact page.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. If you are in the UK, you can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when site behaviour changes or when wording needs to be clarified. The revision date above shows the latest update.
8. Contact
For privacy-related questions or requests, please use the Contact page or email support@mortgagepro.uk.
